We are seeking a Senior IT Analyst with over 4 years of experience in cloud-based architectures to join our team in Prague, Czechia. This is a hybrid, long-term contract engagement.

Responsibilities

As a Senior IT Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical development of the product.

• Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business and technical requirements for the product, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams.
• System Design & Architecture: Design and propose scalable system architectures, data models, and technical workflows.
• Technical Feasibility: Evaluate the technical feasibility of proposed features, identifying potential risks, dependencies, and opportunities for optimization.
• Process Optimization: Analyze and improve technical processes, ensuring efficient integration of APIs, third-party services, and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, QA, and design teams to ensure seamless translation of requirements into development-ready specifications and to support implementation throughout the product lifecycle.
• Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data analytics to assess system performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend enhancements to improve product reliability and user experience.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system diagrams, API specifications, and user flows, to support development and stakeholder communication.
• Progress Tracking & Reporting: Monitor project progress, manage tasks, and provide regular status reports to leadership.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a technical liaison between non-technical stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring clear communication of complex technical concepts.

Requirements

• Technical Expertise: 4+ years of experience as an IT Analyst with a strong understanding of cloud-based architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs, and microservices.
• Project Management Skills: Ability to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Analytical Mindset: Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications.
• Collaboration Champion: Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, developers, and designers.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, with a focus on creating precise documentation and ensuring technical accuracy in all deliverables.
• Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Productboard, Miro, or equivalent for requirements management, system design, and API testing.
• Security: Familiarity with security best practices (HIPAA knowledge desirable but not essential).
