About the Position
Senior IT Automation Tester (Python + Robot)
Join Optiveum as a Senior IT Automation Tester focusing on Python, Robot Framework, APIs, and Kafka for a global banking platform. This role offers a hybrid Poland position with a senior Scrum team, and a salary of up to 120 PLN/h on a B2B contract.

Responsibilities
- Work closely within a Scrum team alongside developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Test and validate microservices within payment flows, including APIs, Kafka, and databases.
- Analyze requirements strictly from a testing perspective.
- Plan, design, and execute test cases.
- Build and maintain automated test suites using Python and Robot Framework.
- Provide detailed test results and actively contribute to quality reporting.
- Participate in testing team activities and drive organizational quality initiatives forward.
Requirements
- Proven experience with RESTful API testing tools and methodologies.
- Strong Python programming skills dedicated to test development.
- Hands-on expertise with Robot Framework automation.
- Solid experience with Database and Kafka testing.
- Proven ability to test and validate XML/JSON data formats (and general knowledge of these formats).
- Familiarity with modern DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
- ISTQB Foundation Level knowledge (or equivalent practical experience).
- Deep understanding of QA processes (both manual and automated).
- Fluent English communication skills (both spoken and written).
