About the Position

We are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst (Cash Management Foreign Area) to join our team in Katowice, Poland. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with SWIFT and ISO 20022 standards within the CBPR+ project.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare business and system analysis of banking applications
  • Collaborate with vendors
  • Coordinate application deployment in cloud environments
  • Work with UX/UI, copywriting, and operational units
  • Support developers and testers in application development and quality assurance
  • Assist in integration and end-to-end testing
  • Prepare business requirements for new functionalities
  • Maintain and lead business documentation of implemented deployments (including UML)
  • Support the team's backlog in ServiceNow
  • Deliver high-quality changes according to procedures
  • Perform cyclical tasks related to application security
  • Resolve incidents

Requirements

  • Technical education
  • Knowledge of MT, MX, ISO 20022, and SWIFT standards
  • Experience in IT system development projects
  • Professional experience in business and system analysis
  • Familiarity with BPMN, UML notations
  • Analytical thinking and log analysis skills (e.g., Splunk)
  • Knowledge of application testing (test plans, packages, test cases in ServiceNow)
  • Understanding of inter-system communication (REST, KAFKA, WSO2)
  • Ability to build algorithms and data structures
  • SQL knowledge

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of the banking environment
  • Familiarity with SWIFT messages
  • Knowledge of payment regulations (AML, KYC, PSD2, GDPR, etc.)
  • Experience with financial protocols (SWIFTNet, SAA, SAG, AMH, etc.)
