About the Position

Senior IT Consultant – Schwerpunkt Transport (m/w/d)

Lekkerland, a part of the REWE Group, is seeking a Senior IT Consultant specializing in transport solutions to join our team in Frechen, Deutschland. As a key member of our interdisciplinary product team, you will provide technical advice, support, and drive the development of our IT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultation within an interdisciplinary product team and take responsibility for the technical support and further development of IT solutions.
• Develop transport systems and identify optimization potentials in your area of responsibility.
• Act as a technical driver and innovation leader within the product team.
• Be responsible for the joint design and implementation of requirements and concepts from the initial idea to the rollout.
• Manage and maintain a network of external partners, ensuring that development aligns with Lekkerland's goals and customer needs.

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Logistics with a technical focus, or comparable education.
• Relevant professional experience, ideally in retail, logistics, or the IT industry.
• Experience with SAP ERP (ECC), particularly SD & LE-TRA, and S4/HANA, as well as knowledge in tour planning software, telematics, or shipment tracking is advantageous.
• Experience or interest in project management and agile working methods in product teams.
• Excellent German and good English language skills.
