About the Position

Senior IT Support Engineer II

We are seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer II to join our global IT team in London, UK. This role is pivotal in providing technical support and ensuring seamless IT operations.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide troubleshooting and support for all IT end user issues, including mobile, desktop, audio/video, peripherals, etc.
  • Asset and Inventory Management: Manage procurement, asset, and inventory for all IT hardware and software.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with teams like Facilities, Sales, Engineering, Information Security, and the Enterprise Team.
  • IT Communication Management: Manage IT communication between headquarters and remote offices.
  • System Imaging and Configurations: Perform system imaging, application configurations, and security policy enforcements.
  • Onsite Support: Provide daily onsite office support.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Coach and mentor peers, lead cross-functional projects, and drive end-user technology decisions.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of working experience in an IT Support role.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Working knowledge of Windows and OSX operating systems.
    • Working knowledge of Lenovo and Apple hardware.
    • Comprehensive understanding of networking concepts.
    • Foundational understanding of Okta and identity and access management concepts, including SSO, MFA, and user permissions.
  • Skills:
    • Management and improvement of services, standards, and support processes.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn new technologies.
    • Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge articles.
    • Working knowledge with voice and video conferencing solutions (Google, Zoom, Slack a plus).
    • Interest in using AI and automation tools to improve IT support and employee experience.
    • Experience supporting New Hire Onboarding, including device deployment and IT orientation.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong verbal and written communicator.
    • Outstanding collaboration and teamwork skills.
    • Passionate, high-energy achiever dedicated to excellence and consistently going above and beyond.
