About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with 6+ years of experience in software development processes, including data analysis, architecture design, coding, and testing, to join our team in Krakow, Poland.
Responsibilities
- Participate in .Net to Java migration project, minor support of legacy.Net components
- Development and delivering backend application components in time and with high-quality using Java (for new components)
- Proactive involvement in the global development process
Requirements
- Strong knowledge and 6+ years of experience in the full life-cycle of software development processes including data analysis, architecture design, coding, and testing
- Proficiency in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems including Spring, JMS, JPA (Hibernate)
- Ability to work independently without supervision in a global environment
- Upper-intermediate English, good communication skills
- Knowledge and experience in Database (Oracle preferred, MSSQL/Sybase OK)
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven
- Familiarity with continuous integration
- Understanding of REST and its best practices
