About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with 6+ years of experience to join our team in Tampa, US. You will be responsible for developing and delivering backend application components for our margin calculation platform for one of the Top Investment Banks.

Responsibilities

Development and delivery of backend application components in time and with high quality
Proactive involvement in the global development process

Requirements

Strong knowledge and 6+ years of experience in the full life-cycle of software development processes including data analysis, architecture design, coding, and testing
Proficiency in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems including Spring, JMS, JPA (Hibernate)
Ability to work independently without supervision in a global environment
Upper-intermediate English, good communication skills
Knowledge and experience in Database (Oracle preferred, MSSQL/Sybase OK)

Nice to Have

Familiarity with build tools such as Maven
Familiarity with continuous integration
Understanding of REST and its best practices
