Senior Java Developer (Azure Cloud & Search Platforms)

About the Position

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in cloud-native application development, microservices architecture, and Azure infrastructure. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale applications deployed on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), with a focus on scalability, reliability, observability, and search-driven solutions. Experience with OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, search & indexing platforms, and Microsoft Purview is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain cloud-native microservices on Azure and AKS.
• Develop REST APIs and event-driven solutions leveraging Kafka.
• Implement and optimize search, indexing, and retrieval capabilities using OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.
• Collaborate with architects and product teams on solution design and implementation.
• Drive CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and operational excellence.
• Ensure application security, performance, and reliability in production environments.

Requirements

Must have

• 6+ years of software development experience, Java 11+/17+, Spring Boot, REST APIs
• 3+ years building Microservices and Cloud-native applications
• Hands-on AKS and Azure platform experience
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale applications
• Azure Cloud Services
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Kubernetes, Docker
• Apache Kafka / Event-Driven Architecture
• SQL & NoSQL Databases
• Git, GitLab, CI/CD Pipelines
• Strong understanding of Distributed Systems and Cloud-Native Design Patterns
