About the Position

Senior Java Developer

We are seeking experienced developers to join an ongoing project based on Java, Angular, and Spring for a European client.

LOCATION

Prague & Brno, Czech Republic

Responsibilities

Design, develop, deploy, and operate a microservice architecture platform for corporate banking services with a focus on high availability, scalability, and low latency
Build and maintain cloud-ready services on top of Elastic Search, MQs, and Oracle DBs
Work with other software engineers, data analysts, and decision-makers, such as product owners, to build solutions and gain novel insights
Actively shape the product and its technological landscape with your ideas

Requirements

3+ years of experience working in a product-driven environment
Understanding of Spring applications and the challenges of microservices
Familiarity with designing and building distributed and scalable systems on Kubernetes/OpenShift in a DevOps manner
Knowledge and care about engineering practices like continuous delivery, defensive programming, and automated testing
Comfortable writing high-quality and easily maintainable code in various styles (i.e. OO, FP)
Fluent communication skills in English

Nice to Have

Experience with Angular
Experience with Elastic Search, MQs, and Oracle DBs
Experience with Continuous Delivery
