Senior Java Developer (m/f) - Remote

Match Profiler is an Information Systems consultant who has been working in the national and international market since 1999. We have multidisciplinary skills and IT know-how that allow us to contribute, optimize and progress with our clients.

We are currently recruiting, for integration in our internal team/client, professionals with the following profile:

Java Developer - Remote

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services
• Implement REST-based API design
• Build horizontally scalable microservices architectures
• Manage multithreading and concurrency
• Optimize high-performance systems and tune JVM
• Work with Apache Kafka for stream processing
• Design efficient NoSQL schemas in MongoDB
• Utilize containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
• Experience with hyper-scalers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Work in an agile, remote, CI/CD-enabled environment
• Adapt to using new technologies and languages (like node.js, react, angular) if required

Requirements

• Hard Skills:

  • Computer sciences or information sciences degree, or comparable training
  • Multiple years of software development experience
  • Proficiency in Java11+, relevant frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot, Quarkus, Micronaut) and REST-based API design
  • Experience building horizontally scalable microservices architectures
  • Knowledge of multithreading and concurrency management
  • Understanding of high-performance systems and tuning JVM for low-latency, high-throughput applications
  • Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for stream processing
  • Proficiency in working with MongoDB and designing efficient NoSQL schemas
  • Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) as well as cloud native application design
  • Experience with hyper-scalers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Experience working in an agile, remote, CI/CD-enabled environment
  • Open-minded and willing to adapt to using new technologies and languages (like node.js, react, angular) if required for certain components of the solution
  • Fluent English (C1), and ability to understand and present complex ideas
