About the Position
Senior Java Developer (m/f/d)

As a Java or Kotlin developer at Appsfactory, you will be part of our international developer team with the aim of helping to shape outstanding digital projects for our customers. Responsibilities
- Collaboration in Kotlin / Java development projects for our customers
- Conception and design of backend software
- Creation of applications using current development tools and agile methods (Scrum)
- Collaboration in the definition of IT architectures
- Regular exchange and cooperation in the team and, if necessary, guidance of new employees
- Error analysis and bug fixing
- Close collaboration with other mobile platform developers (e.g. Android and iOS), project management and the design and quality assurance team
Requirements
Must-have:
- Professional Java / Kotlin development experience required (at least 4 years)
- Deep understanding of OOP, web services and cloud services
- Knowledge in the area of domain driven design
- Experience in the design and development of microservices
- Experience in the design of REST interfaces / web APIs
- Experience in working with relational and non-relational databases
- Experience with Docker
- High degree of initiative, motivation and flexibility
- Written and spoken German at least C1 level
- Written and spoken English at a minimum B2 level
Nice-to-have:
- Good understanding of the Spring ecosystem (Spring Framework, Spring Boot) and Hibernate
- Knowledge of Event Driven Architecture (CQRS, Kafka)
- Knowledge in the areas of Message Oriented Middleware
- Knowledge in the areas of Message Oriented Middleware
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with state-of-the-art web frameworks, such as Angular, React or Vue.js
