Senior Java Developer

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with over 6 years of experience to join our global team in Warsaw, Poland. This role focuses on backend development using Java and.Net technologies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the .Net to Java migration project
• Provide minor support for legacy.Net components
• Develop and deliver backend application components in Java on time and with high quality
• Proactively engage in the global development process

Requirements

• Strong knowledge and 6+ years of experience in the full life-cycle of software development processes including data analysis, architecture design, coding, and testing
• Proficiency in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems including Spring, JMS, JPA (Hibernate)
• Ability to work independently without supervision in a global environment
• Upper-intermediate English, good communication skills
• Knowledge and experience in Database (Oracle preferred, MSSQL/Sybase OK)

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with build tools such as Maven
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• Understanding of REST and its best practices
