Senior Java Developer

Wroclaw-based opportunity with a hybrid work model (1 day in-office, 4 days remote).

As a Senior Java Software Engineer – Hexagonal Architecture, you will be working for our client, a leading IT company dedicated to delivering innovative software solutions. Your expertise will contribute to designing and implementing robust systems that meet high standards of performance and security, driving digital transformation and technological excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software solutions following hexagonal architecture principles
• Maintain code quality and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Analyze system performance, security, and operational efficiency
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot Java-based applications
• Collaborate with distributed teams to deliver high-quality software
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Java development
• Proficiency in Java (version 17 or higher) and object-oriented design patterns
• Experience with Spring (MVC and Data modules) and Apache Kafka
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle) and NoSQL solutions (Elasticsearch, Redis)
• Good communication skills in Polish, with the ability to read technical documentation in English
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Experience working in Agile (SCRUM) teams and testing independently

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript (React), Python
• Experience with cloud environments (Azure) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Ability to design system architecture and create high-level diagrams (HLD)
• Familiarity with UML and flow diagrams

Language Required for the Role

• Polish (native or fluent)
• English (communicative level)

Salary

18 900 - 24 150 PLN (monthly)
