Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend applications in Java using the latest technologies (JDK 25, Spring Boot 3.x/4.x, OpenShift, K8s, Docker)
• Maintain existing applications in operation-fixing faulty mechanisms, optimizing current solutions, implementing monitoring, CI/CD
• Participate in projects expanding business systems
• Share expertise in specialized knowledge
• Document created changes
• Perform regular code reviews and support other developers
• Actively participate in initiatives that improve software production processes in the organization

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience as a Java Developer
• Very good knowledge of: Java, Spring Boot, REST, Hibernate/JPA, SQL
• Practical knowledge of: Maven, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Helm, GIT, JUnit, Apache Kafka, Grafana, Prometheus, microservices patterns
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server)
• Ability to combine expert technical knowledge with the ability to engage and support others, and not afraid to take initiative and responsibility when needed
• Knowledge of Polish at C1 level and English at B2 level
• AI-powered skills: Experience with AI tools translating into measurable time savings and quality improvements

Desirable:

• Experience in technical coaching
• Experience with frontend (ReactJS, MUI) or openness to gaining new experience

Recruitment Process Stages

1. Phone interview with the Recruiter (maximum 20 minutes)

2. Online recruitment meeting with the Team Manager, technical person, and TA specialist

We will go from general to specific. We will focus on the technologies we use in daily work and check your practical knowledge of SQL. We want to understand how your technical approach translates into building effective pricing tools.

3. Recruitment meeting-held on-site and lasts about an hour

This is time for in-depth analysis and case study tasks (e.g., code review). We will check the quality of your code and your ability to think causally. We will delve into the technology to verify your broad, systemic view of solving technical problems.
