Senior Java Engineer

We are actively seeking a Senior Java Engineer to work on Platform Manager - an internal administration tool that provides secure, role-based, audited access across multiple platform environments through a unified interface. You'll contribute to feature enhancements that support self-service platform and environment management.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the ongoing development of a Spring Boot-based enterprise application within a cross-functional team.
• Analyze and resolve security vulnerabilities in project dependencies, ensuring compliance through timely upgrades.
• Improve code quality, maintainability, and overall application performance.
• Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, debug complex issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Deliver backported bug fixes and security-related updates across supported application versions.
• Collaborate closely with QA and engineering teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle to support stable, secure, and high-quality releases.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Java 21 and Spring Boot in enterprise application development.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Docker, Gradle, Jenkins, and Git.
• Proficient with testing frameworks including JUnit, Mockito, WireMock, and Cucumber.
• Passionate about writing clean, maintainable, and secure code.
• Experienced in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving complex technical issues.
• Comfortable working in cross-functional Agile teams and collaborating with QA and engineering stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Svelte, Cypress, React, or Node.js is a plus.
