About the Position
Senior Java Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Java8+, RabbitMQ, and Spring Framework to join our innovative tech team in Kyiv or remotely.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services
- Write clean, maintainable code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
- Significant experience in Java8+ (Core, Networking, REST, javax.servlet, javax.ws.rs, JUnit), RabbitMQ, CouchDB, Spring Framework, Google Protobuf, Google Guava, Mockito, NewRelic, DataDog, Gradle
- Knowledge of Python will be a big plus
- Knowledge of Go will be a plus
- Understanding of media (audio/video) encoding/decoding will be plus
- Self-starter who is ready to work on a fast-paced early-stage project without daily direction/hand-holding
- Good verbal and writing English language communication skills
