Senior Java full stack Developer

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our team in Brabant Wallon, Belgium. The role involves developing and maintaining software applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, program, test, and maintain software applications and management software to ensure the most reliable applications that meet business needs and expectations.
• Participate in determining user needs and conducting feasibility analysis to understand user needs, assess technical feasibility, and facilitate application programming.
• Perform technical analysis and write documentation related to modifications and developments of assigned applications to provide a useful basis for simplifying future modifications to applications.
• Test solutions designed within the department and make necessary modifications to ensure they meet quality standards and business needs.
• Monitor production developments and make modifications as needed, contribute to the development and improvement of assigned applications to ensure an easy and efficient development process.
• Control, analyze, and resolve intervention requests and bugs related to assigned applications to ensure the most reliable operation of applications.
• Act as an advisor for technical support and functional questions regarding software applications and management software and the implementation of solutions for internal and external parties to provide optimal support during the use and development of various applications.

Requirements

• Languages

  • Dutch: Native or bilingual proficiency
  • French: Native or bilingual proficiency
  • English: Professional working proficiency

• Skills

  • Java: Expert
  • Angular: Expert
  • React: Expert
  • Jira: Intermediate
  • Microservices: Advanced
  • Agile: Intermediate

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
• Strong knowledge in Java (Spring and Reactive Streams preferred)
• Good knowledge of Git, Jenkins, and Jira
• Good knowledge of databases (Oracle, SQL, DB2, etc.)
• Good experience with an IDE like IntelliJ or similar
• Good frontend experience with the latest versions of Angular (React is a plus)
• Comfortable with concepts such as ngrx, openid connect, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript, SASS
• Knowledge of Json Form is an asset
• Good understanding of French or Dutch (oral/written), and knowledge of English (oral/written)
• Oral comprehension of French is an asset (French-speaking team)
