Senior Java Full Stack Engineer (with React and AI skills)

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer with React and AI skills to join our team in Bengaluru, India. As part of the Navigator team, the AI engineer will work on developing, enhancing, and maintaining platform services supporting control-specific data preparation pipelines, back-end application components, and API integrations. The role will also contribute to platform modernization and cloud-aligned strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Development and enhancement of Java microservice projects and APIs.
• Development and enhancement of React applications.
• Integration of controls onboarding and surveillance components across the platform.
• Design and implementation of AI-based capabilities in the project.
• Delivery of performance, scalability, and reliability improvements.
• Support for cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Resolution of application defects and production support issues.
• Delivery of technical documentation and adherence to SDLC and control standards.
• Maintenance of technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Requirements

Must have

• Overall 8 to 10 years of experience as a Java Full Stack Developer with React.
• 7+ Years of Experience developing in Core Java and Spring Framework.
• 5+ Years of Experience developing in React and JavaScript.
• 3-4 years of working experience with AI tools, Github Copilot, Gemini.
• Worked with the latest features of Java 8, 11, and 17 in Development.
• Solid understanding of Data Structures.
• Good hands-on coding skills.
• Experience in Kafka or other messaging.
• Knowledge of key APIs: JPA, JTA, CDI, etc.
• Knowledge of various design and architectural patterns.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Containerization solutions (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Building tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle).
• Version Control (e.g., Git).
• Continuous Integration systems (e.g., TeamCity, Jenkins).
• English Upper-Intermediate.
