Senior Java + JS Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Java + JS Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Java8 and JS frontend frameworks to join our innovative team in a remote or Ukraine-based role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Java8.
• Design and implement frontend applications using JS frameworks such as React or Angular JS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Ensure code quality and performance through rigorous testing and code reviews.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
• Significant experience in Java8 (Core, Networking, RES, RabbitMQ, CouchDB, Spring Framework, Google Protobuf, Google Guava, javax.servlet, javax.ws.rs, Mockito, JUnit, NewRelic, DataDog, Gradle).
• Experience with JS frontend frameworks such as React, Angular JS, etc.
• Knowledge of Python will be a big plus.
• Knowledge of C/C++ will be a plus.
• Understanding of VOIP stack will be a plus.
• Self-starter who is ready to work on a fast-paced early-stage project without daily direction/hand-holding.
• Good verbal and writing English language communication skills.
