Senior Java Software Developer

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Java Software Developer with 6+ years of experience to join our banking and capital markets team in Poland. Our client is building a centralized platform for its sales and trading business vertical, aiming to improve the client experience by consolidating three separate businesses into a one-stop-shop.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy large application footprints in a cloud-native environment.
• Ensure high availability, zero downtime, and A/B deployment.
• Implement state-of-the-art application instrumentation (logging, tracing, metrics).
• Manage name server registry, auto DNS, and service discoverability.
• Utilize SpringBoot platform, SpringBoot server, and SpringBoot Admin.
• Use Ansible/Terraform and Kubernetes for infrastructure management.

Requirements

• MUST

  • Proven experience (6-7 years) with Java development and strong core Java skills.
  • Experience with Service API (REST/gRPC/Web servers, OpenApi/SwaggerApi).
  • Service integration (REST, gRPC, MQ, Kafka).
  • Proven knowledge of computer science concepts including concurrency, algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with Github Copilot.

• NICE TO HAVE

  • Knowledge of sales and trading domains of investment banking business.
  • Experience with graph data structures, traversal, optimization, partitioning, distribution, serialization, and rendering.
  • JNI, Java/.Net integration, and memory management.
  • Multithreaded and high-performance development.
  • Concurrent programming and zero-lock execution.
  • Relational algebra (dataset operations) and vector processing.
