Senior Java/Kotlin Engineer (Architecture Focus)

The Tech Stack

We work with the latest tools, not legacy dust.

Core: Kotlin, Java (JVM 21+), Spring Boot 3+.
Infrastructure & Ops: Azure (AKS), GitHub, GitOps, Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD.
Database: CosmosDB, PostgreSQL, Prisma.
Quality & Testing: JUnit5, JaCoCo, MockK, SonarQube.
Workflow: Trunk-based development, Feature flags, Maven, Artifactory.

Your Role

You will be a key player in a software engineering team, helping to set the direction for application development using standardized tools and platforms.

Build & Design: Develop new functionalities on a project fostering financial wellness.
Architect: Define the technical solution and ensure scalability.
Lead: Drive the adoption of modern practices across the domain.
Collaborate: Partner with business stakeholders to convert ideas into technical reality.

Engineering Culture (How We Work)

Agile at Scale: We work in 14-day sprints following Large Scale Scrum (LeSS) principles.

Who You Are

The Specialist: You have strong Backend experience in Java and at least basics of Kotlin (with a desire to master it).
The Architect: You are comfortable with Microservices, Azure Cloud, and DevOps principles.
The Partner: You don't hide behind a monitor. You are happy to walk over to a colleague (or a different team) to solve a problem instantly.
The Mentor: You enjoy helping junior colleagues grow.
Bonus: Experience with Mobile (Android/iOS) is a plus, as is a deep understanding of business requirements.
