About the Position
Senior Kubernetes Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Kubernetes Engineer to join a cloud-native initiative focused on building and maintaining a modern containerized environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing OpenShift infrastructure, automating deployments through CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of the platform. You will work with container technologies, Infrastructure-as-Code, and service mesh solutions to support the delivery of robust and efficient cloud-native applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using OpenShift
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes
- Manage and optimize container images and registries using Docker
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Helm for scalable and repeatable deployments
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux-based environments and cloud infrastructure
- Configure and manage service mesh solutions (e.g. Istio) for traffic management, security, and observability
- Integrate and maintain code quality and security scanning tools (e.g. SonarQube) into CI/CD pipelines
Requirements
- Strong experience with OpenShift
- Solid Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
- Strong knowledge of building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI & Jenkins
- Hands-on experience implementing GitOps workflows using Argo CD
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and deployment automation using Helm
- Knowledge of Docker and container registry management
- Strong knowledge working with Istio or similar service mesh technologies
- Experience integrating code quality and security scanning using SonarQube
- Good understanding of system architecture and cloud-native principles
