We are seeking a Senior Lawyer to provide legal support for investment projects and ensure compliance with statutory obligations for a Western production company.

Responsibilities
- Provide legal support of investment projects
- Monitor compliance with statutory obligations and advise management accordingly
- Provide and interpret legal information, disseminate appropriate legal requirements
- Represent and protect the company interests in courts and at different levels of authority, manage progress of outstanding litigation
- Review and draft contracts, agreements, and internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements; assess implications that need to be brought to the executive management’s attention
- Provide legal protection and risk management advice to management and shareholders
- Provide continuous leadership, supervision, training, and development of department staff ensuring an effective and motivated team
