Senior / Lead Android Developer

About the Position

We’re looking for a Senior / Lead Android Developer / Android Technical Lead to join our team and take a key role in building and scaling mobile applications used daily by millions of users.

Location: Hybrid (Warsaw)

Salary: 30 240 – 36 960 PLN

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications with a strong focus on performance and user experience
• Lead architectural decisions and support the team in adopting engineering best practices
• Integrate mobile applications with backend services in a secure and efficient manner
• Write and oversee unit and integration tests, ensuring high test coverage and stability
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and help shape development standards
• Take ownership of technical documentation and ensure alignment with project goals

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in Android development (Kotlin, Java)
• Deep knowledge of Android SDK and its core components
• Hands-on experience with: Git, Gradle, Postman, SoapUI (or similar tools)
• Proficiency in using key libraries and tools such as: RxJava3, OkHttp, Lottie, AndroidX, Firebase, Android Architecture Components
• Strong understanding and practical experience with MVVM architecture and software design patterns
• Experience in reactive programming
• Practical use of dependency injection frameworks (Hilt, Dagger2, Koin)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Mockito, MockK, PowerMock, etc.)
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving mindset, and effective communication skills

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a Tech Lead or similar leadership role
• Experience with multi-module Android projects
• Strong debugging and profiling skills using tools like Android Profiler, Layout Inspector, apksigner, apkanalyzer
• Familiarity with native Android development using NDK, C/C++
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bitrise
• Integration experience with Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) and Firebase
• Deep understanding of SOLID principles and Clean Architecture
• Experience using Gerrit, GitLab, and other code review/version control tools
• Comfortable working with JIRA, Confluence, and related tools
