About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Linux Engineer to join our team in Kraków, Poland. You will manage and maintain Linux environments, ensuring stability and security.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain enterprise Linux environments
- Identify, analyze, and remediate security vulnerabilities
- Implement and support infrastructure automation solutions
- Develop and maintain Jenkins pipelines and automation workflows
- Administer and troubleshoot Tomcat and JBoss Web Server environments
- Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and root cause analysis
- Support application deployments and release activities
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve production issues
- Ensure compliance with security and operational requirements
- Create and maintain technical documentation
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration
- Experience with system security, hardening, and vulnerability remediation
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins and automation tools
- Experience with shell scripting
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Knowledge of Tomcat or Red Hat JBoss Web Server (JWS)
- Experience with system monitoring and troubleshooting
- Understanding of networking and operating system fundamentals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and experience working in international teams
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of IBM WebSphere Liberty (WLP)
- Knowledge of IBM MQ
- Knowledge of IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE)
- Experience in the banking or financial services sector
- Experience with containerization technologies
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Experience with Ansible or other configuration management tools
