We are looking for an experienced Linux/SRE engineer to join our team responsible for maintaining and developing HPC and GPU cluster infrastructure used for AI.

We work on physical servers, with Linux, Data Center networks, and NVIDIA technologies. We automate a lot, using Ansible, Python, Bash, and Git.

This is not a typical DevOps job focused on the cloud and application deployment. Here, more time is spent on working with infrastructure, diagnosing problems, and ensuring the stability of the environment.

Salary: 200 zł - 250 zł per hour

Responsibilities

Maintaining and developing Linux infrastructure and HPC/GPU clusters.
Diagnosing and solving production problems, both systemic, hardware, and network.
Automating configuration and infrastructure management.
Developing monitoring and improving the stability of the environment.
Collaborating on deployments and incident resolution.
Documenting solutions and streamlining daily work.

Requirements

Very good knowledge of Debian-like Linux and experience with production systems.
Experience with bare-metal and Data Center infrastructure.
Good knowledge of networks (TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, routing).
Ability to independently diagnose system, network, and performance issues.
Knowledge of Ansible, Git, and scripting skills in Bash and Python.
Experience with monitoring and diagnostic tools.
Fluency in English for daily communication.

Nice to Have

Experience with HPC, compute clusters, or GPU infrastructure.
Knowledge of NVIDIA technologies (Cumulus, DCGM, NCCL, NHC, NVIDIA Container Toolkit).
Knowledge of InfiniBand, RDMA, SLURM.
Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, GitLab CI/CD.
Experience with distributed and clustered file systems (Lustre, Ceph).

Organization

Approximately 10-person team divided into operational (SRE) and project parts.
Work hours: 8:00–18:00, with a two-hour break.
Work on Linux or macOS.
Scrum, regular meetings, and a lot of direct communication in the team.
Currently no night or weekend shifts, but a rotational on-call is planned for the future.
