Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements

About the Position

Senior Lobby Analyst

We are looking to bolster our ecosystem team that focuses on all interactions players enjoy outside our games and the parts that connect to our ecosystem inside of games. It’s our job to make sure that every part of the player’s journey with us is simple, intuitive, and most importantly, fun. That means living and breathing our products, obsessing over real user data and metrics, and working with key stakeholders across the business to make recommendations that will delight players while meeting commercial objectives. Since everything we do is enjoyed by millions of players worldwide every single day, it’s important that we get these insights right.

If you’re able to bring thoughtful, data-driven reasoning, obsessive insights, and coordination execution to a highly driven, fast-moving, and talented team, you’ll fit right in.

Location: Isle of Man, Gibraltar, Malta (on-site or remote)

Responsibilities

Tracking Strategy & Data Governance

  • Define daily KPIs and maintain a clear data dictionary that will be used to determine insights and chart success.
  • Work with Lobby Specialist to set detailed tracking metrics, tagging structures, dimensions, parameters, and report frameworks.
  • Work with Product and Development teams to ensure tracking requirements are correctly implemented.
  • Remain vigilant regarding our data quality. Does the data line up with our expectations? Scrutinize the information, investigate, and escalate any issues to ensure that we are quick to respond.
  • Expand our tracking capabilities so that you and the business can make better informed decisions regarding the lobby and broader ecosystem.

Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyse activity data, focusing on acquisition metrics (how many players are managing to attract to the lobby), retention metrics (how good of a job are doing of getting repeat lobby visitors and users), and behavioural metrics.
  • Identify and track key user flows and funnels in the lobby. Liaise with Business Intelligence and Development to put necessary measurement tools into place.
  • Document your analysis methodologies for the broader team.
  • Review algorithmic outputs to ensure the recommendations are sensible and align with expected player behaviours.
  • Help curate game titles in the lobby, so that (a) new releases are getting the real estate and exposure they deserve, (b) popular titles are easily discovered and played, (c) recommendation algorithms fit well with manual curation, and (d) the organisational structure of the lobby lends itself well to a strong discovery experience.

Strategic Insight & Stakeholder Support

  • Identify trends and insights in the data to make recommendations to (a) Commercial teams for features they should be pushing, (b) Promotion and Marketing teams for manual curation matters, and (c) Product teams to review, consider, and include in the product roadmap.
  • Help Product define and measure what success looks like for specific features and perform pre- and postlaunch analyses.
  • Provide timely data and insights to Commercial teams to help them focus their efforts and effectively position our products and upcoming features in client conversations.
  • Present clear, actionable insights to various audiences in the most effective format.

Requirements
