About the Position

Senior Low Latency Java Developer

Match-Trade Technologies, a leading European creator of algorithmic trading technology in the digital asset space, is seeking a Senior Low Latency Java Developer to join our team in Warsaw, Poland. Our software plays a crucial role in providing proper liquidity and volumes, with our algorithms active on over 35 exchanges and numerous marketplaces.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance trading system components in a distributed architecture with a focus on low latency.
• Implement new features and functionalities in both existing and new systems, ensuring they adhere to low latency requirements.
• Perform bug fixes and maintain code quality.
• Analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of our systems.
• Collaborate closely with the Trading, Quant, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.

Requirements

• 3 - 5+ years of experience in building financial/trading systems using Java or C++ on Linux.
• Expertise in multi-threaded/concurrency programming using lock-free algorithms.
• Proficiency in low-latency programming concepts and techniques.
• Experience with the design and development of distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of AWS EC2 and experience in optimizing cloud environments for low latency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
