About the Position
Senior Machine Learning Engineer (RecSys)
Join INFOMEDIJI d.o.o. as we build the next generation of Spatial Media - a new way people experience videos through interaction, multi-user presence, haptics, AI, and immersive storytelling.
DeoVR is the leading immersive streaming technology serving multiple enterprise customers and millions of users globally. We are expanding the boundaries of what video can be - moving from passive watching to active, interactive, multi-user journeys.

Responsibilities
- Design ranking and retrieval models for main page, related content, and search.
- Build real-time recommendation systems for videos, shorts, and infinite scroll timelines.
- Develop end-to-end recommendation pipelines, contributing to backend.
- Explore algorithms for Shorts (short videos) generation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning or related fields.
- Strong Python skills, including data structures, algorithms.
- Advanced SQL knowledge.
- Proficient with PyTorch or TensorFlow, and experience with tools like CatBoost, XGBoost, Airflow, and MLflow.
- Background in machine learning, classification, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, data mining, AI, or similar technical areas.
- Proven ability to build scalable, reproducible ML pipelines and create clear documentation.
Nice to Have
- Search system design & development; performance optimization; familiarity with FastAPI, Ci/CD, and Kubernetes.
- MSc in CS, Math, or related.
