About the Position
Senior Manager, AI Engineering
Salary: $230,000 - $300,000/yr
Location: Seattle, WA
Responsibilities
- Hire, develop, and retain a high-performing applied AI architecture team
- Set technical vision and strategic direction for Applied AI Architecture worldwide
- Serve as a technically credible executive sponsor for strategic customers
- Build feedback loops with AWS service and product teams to influence roadmaps
- Drive thought leadership through publications, frameworks, and speaking engagements
- Create scalable programs, tools, and enablement assets for field execution at scale
- Make directional decisions in ambiguous, fast-moving technical domains while enabling course-correction
- Synthesize patterns across engagements to represent the customer voice internally
Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering experience
- 5+ years of engineering team management experience
- 10+ years of planning, designing, developing, and delivering consumer software
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience managing multiple concurrent programs/projects/development teams in an Agile environment
