  • Manage and support the commercialization of broadcast sponsorship opportunities with BWF broadcast clients, ensuring all activations, proposals, and deliverables are aligned with BWF guidelines, rights parameters, and approval processes.
  • Support the Director of Media Rights in developing and implementing strategic plans for BWF dark markets, with the objective of identifying future growth opportunities, new distribution models, and long-term revenue potential.
  • Explore and develop new ways to commercialize the BWF property beyond traditional broadcast rights sales, including digital distribution, social content, highlights, FAST channels, betting data/audio-visual opportunities, branded content, sponsorship integration, and other emerging media models.
  • Support the development and implementation of annual budgets, revenue forecasts, and strategic planning for BWF media projects in coordination with relevant internal stakeholders and the Infront Media Sales team.
  • Prepare regular reporting for BWF and internal stakeholders, including sales updates, market feedback, broadcaster performance, rights delivery status, commercial opportunities, dark market development, and key risks.
  • Conduct market research across relevant territories, including broadcaster landscape analysis, competitor monitoring, benchmark studies, pricing assessment, and identification of emerging platforms or alternative buyers.
  • Support media-related rights-in activities, including regular reporting, client management, event servicing, onsite presence where required, and ensuring seamless delivery of BWF events to broadcast partners.
  • Contribute knowledge, experience, and market insights to the continued development of the Media, Betting & Technology Team, including proposing improvements to processes, sales materials, commercial models, and client servicing approaches.
  • Support the further growth of Infront’s portfolio by contributing to pitches for new rights, responses to tenders, and business development initiatives in close coordination with relevant rights-in and business development teams.

  • Familiarity with drafting, reviewing, and navigating media rights contracts, including badminton-specific rights packages, broadcast obligations, territorial rights, digital rights, sponsorship restrictions, approval processes, and rights delivery requirements.
  • Proven working relationships and an established network across broadcasters, agencies, rights holders, sponsors, sports governing bodies, and/or badminton stakeholders would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience in supporting or delivering international sporting events from a media standpoint, preferably badminton events, including broadcaster servicing, onsite coordination, rights delivery, production support, and stakeholder communication.
  • Understanding the international badminton landscape, including the BWF ecosystem, major events, leading athletes, member associations, commercial partners, fan engagement trends, and market dynamics, would be a strong plus.
