About the Position
Senior Manual QA
We are seeking a Senior Manual QA with 4+ years of experience in software testing to join our fast-growing FinTech and Blockchain-oriented company. This role is remote with the possibility of working from Kyiv, Ukraine.
Responsibilities
- Build QA process on the project from scratch, according to the needs and priorities
- Analyze business, functional, and non-functional requirements
- Design test cases and checklists
- Create and manage test plans and test suites
- Perform manual regression, functional, acceptance, and API testings
- Fast and effective cross-team communication
- Analyze and constantly improve test coverage and development process
- Report on QA process and metrics to Head of QA directly
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience and strong skills in software testing
- Experience in web testing (for both desktop and mobile devices)
- Expert in functional testing
- Good experience in test scope identification, test requirements management, test case development, test scheduling, and defect management
- Good experience in creating and implementing test artifacts (test plan, test strategy)
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies like Agile / Scrum / Kanban
- Familiar with blockchain terminology: types of blockchain, currency, smart contracts, wallets, and how it works
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment in a rapidly growing company
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Good written and spoken English
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Git Flow
- Automation skills
- Experience in testing of blockchain systems, smart-contracts (Rust technology)
- Hands-on experience in testing Ethereum dApps
