About the Position
A leading software provider in the automotive industry is looking for a Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our team in Krakow, Poland. Help ensure the seamless performance of automotive solutions across global markets.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual verification and validation of Automotive solutions to ensure the system meets the highest quality standards for the European market.
- Validate Automotive solutions through manual testing in multiple regions on test rigs, ensuring they function as expected in diverse environments.
- Design, implement, and execute test cases to ensure they cover all necessary use cases and system scenarios.
- Performing static or dynamic test drives as a driver or test engineer.
- Ensure the traceability of test cases throughout the testing process, from design through execution and defect reporting.
- Executing test plans/test suites based on priorities provided by the Test Manager/Test Lead.
- Recording traces and providing proper time markers for defect analysis.
- Identify, report, and help resolve issues or bugs found during testing, collaborating closely with development teams.
- Conduct manual testing in real-world environments to simulate customer use cases and ensure proper system behavior.
- Collaborate with Test Manager, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to align on overall testing strategy and approach.
- Participate in business trips at the client’s request.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s license of category B (required for field testing and driving-based validation activities).
- At least 5+ years of experience in manual QA testing for software products.
- Significant Automotive experience of at least 3 years.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies, including test case creation, execution, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile methodologies.
- Proven experience with test management tools (e.g., Xray, Jira).
- Advanced knowledge of Linux CLI and general system administration.
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (both written and spoken).
- Extensive driving experience (must be comfortable with real-world driving scenarios and automotive systems).
- Regularly work from the office in Krakow to access test vehicles for field testing.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of ADASIS v2, ASPICE, or ISO 21434 standards.
- Experience with field testing and coordination of testing in different markets.
- Understanding of location-based services, geospatial data, and routing algorithms.
