Job Description

Do you want to determine how a major European technology company is seen and heard in the Netherlands? You will take local control of PR, Employer Branding, and marketing, translating business priorities into stories, campaigns, media moments, and activities that strengthen Netcompany's position in the Dutch market.

Netcompany is one of Europe's leading technology partners, with over 9,500 colleagues delivering digital solutions for governments, vital sectors, and businesses across Europe. We take responsibility for the entire process, from strategy and development to daily operations. As a leader in European, sovereign technology, we build solutions on European terms.

In the Netherlands, you will join our team in The Hague and work closely with highly experienced colleagues within Group PR and Marketing, where strong subject matter expertise is combined with data and AI to develop, activate, and continuously improve communication.

In addition to PR and marketing, you will lead local employer branding and help strengthen how we attract and retain IT talent.

What will you do?

You connect Group priorities with opportunities in the Dutch market and bring together the right teams, agencies, and stakeholders to bring ideas from strategy to implementation in the areas of PR, marketing, and employer branding.

  • You lead local PR and act as the main link between Group PR, our external PR agency, and stakeholders in the Netherlands. You translate Group stories into relevant local opportunities and bring market insights back to the Group.
  • You drive PR projects from briefing to implementation and evaluation, set goals, coordinate stakeholders, and keep progress on track, both internally and externally.
  • You build Netcompany's media presence by identifying and pitching relevant stories, managing media requests, and preparing executives and subject matter experts for interviews.
  • You monitor media coverage and the local news agenda to identify new visibility opportunities, maintain relevant media lists, and build relationships with journalists in national, international, and trade media.
  • You lead employer branding in the Netherlands and work with Talent Acquisition and Global Employer Branding on campaigns, digital and social activities, partnerships, events, and internal initiatives that contribute to recruitment, engagement, and referrals.
  • You strengthen how Netcompany presents itself to IT talent by creating content and finding stories about our people, values, and opportunities. You support the localization of our Employer Value Proposition and use the results of campaigns and events to improve future activities.
  • You shape local marketing activation through events and our partnership with the Netcompany INEOS cycling team, and translate Group initiatives into relevant local activations for the Dutch market.
  • You work closely with Group Marketing to activate campaigns locally, adapt messages and activities to the Dutch market, and coordinate implementation through the right channels and stakeholders.

Job Requirements

What do you bring?

You are an experienced communications professional who can provide direction, bring people together, and turn plans into high-quality execution.

  • You have experience in PR, marketing, and employer branding, with strong project management skills and the confidence to take ownership and make independent decisions.
  • You translate strategy and business priorities into clear stories, campaigns, events, and communications, with a good understanding of different target groups and what makes a message relevant to them.
  • You build trust relationships with internal and external stakeholders and feel comfortable coordinating between teams, agencies, journalists, and senior colleagues.
  • You work structured and attentive to detail, and know how to manage multiple priorities without losing speed or quality.
  • You communicate fluently in English and Dutch, with a convincing communication style and a strong sense of your audience.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Marketing, Communication, PR, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus but not a requirement.
