Senior Mechanical Engineer Getinge Sterilization

About the Position

Join Getinge Sterilization as a Senior Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the development of life-saving technology.

Responsibilities

• Design and dimension mechanical components such as pressure vessels and load equipment.
• Participate in the verification and validation of new and existing products.
• Work closely with production to ensure that designs are robust, efficient, and suitable for manufacturing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to find solutions that balance function, quality, manufacturing, and cost.
• Review and challenge technical solutions and contribute new ideas and improvement proposals.
• Be an active part of the development process from early concept to finished product.

Requirements

• Higher education/civil engineering degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering.
• Good experience with 3D construction.
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Meritorious knowledge of Solid Works and experience with FEM calculations in tools such as Ansys.
• Previous experience with pressure vessels is also meritorious.
