Senior Media Protocol Software Engineer (С++)

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Media Protocol Software Engineer (С++) with 5+ years of experience to work on real-time media transport for video and audio H.264 and VP8 codecs.

Responsibilities

• Develop unified communication applications using C++11 and above, Python 3.8, JS (optional)
• Work in a small agile team using scrum methodology
• Proficiency in Realtime transport protocols SIP, H323, RTP/RTCP, STUN/TURN/ICE, WebRTC
• Exercise CI/CD pipeline in the development process
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure like AWS, EKS, etc.
• Experience in developing applications for interworking with standard endpoint providers like Cisco, Polycom, Lifesize, etc.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

Requirements

• Proven programming skills: C++11 and above, C
• Proficient in SIP, H323, SDP, RTP/RTCP, STUN/TURN/ICE protocols, WebRTC stack knowledge (server side)
• Knowledge of working with real-time media transport for video and audio H.264 and VP8 codecs
• Interworking knowledge with standard cloud and hardware providers like Cisco and Polycom like VCS, Webex, etc.
• Bandwidth management knowledge for efficient media transportation between client and server
• Scripting language: Python 3.8 and above, Unix Shell Script
• Knowledge of REST API development and support
• Container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes in AWS, Jenkins
• Real-time media analysis for Audio/Video media using Wireshark
• Atlassian tools for code management and collaboration (git, jira, bitbucket, confluence)
• Good verbal and writing English language communication skills
