Senior ML Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for a Senior ML Engineer to join our design teams. We solve web and mobile applications for clients from many sectors, including banking, e-commerce, fintech, and automotive.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines to support production ML workflows
• Develop reliable and efficient Python code for data processing using NumPy and pandas
• Build and deploy machine learning models, integrating them into scalable production pipelines
• Write and manage Docker configurations to support application containerization and CI/CD processes
• Work with AWS S3, Azure Data Lake, and Databricks Unity Catalog for efficient data ingestion and retrieval
• Partner with Data Scientists to operationalize ML models in live environments
• Follow SOC 2-compliant SDLC practices, using tools like Git and Jira
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure clean, maintainable code

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on Python
• Expert-level proficiency in Python, with in-depth knowledge of NumPy and pandas, including their performance nuances
• Demonstrated success in deploying and maintaining ML models in production environments
• Solid experience in Docker for containerizing applications
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, especially Blob Storage
• Experience using Git for version control and implementing automated testing workflows
• Comfortable using Jupyter Notebooks for data exploration and ML prototyping
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, capable of translating business logic into maintainable code
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate (B2+) or higher

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with other programming languages (e.g., C++, JavaScript, or else)
• Experience with AWS or GCP
