About the Position

Join Valtech as a Senior Mobile App Developer (iOS/Android) in Stockholm, Sweden. Develop native mobile applications with a focus on performance, architecture, and long-term maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Development of native applications (no React Native)
• Primary focus on iOS, with solid understanding and experience in Android
• Drive app development, technical decisions, and new ideas
• Act in a proactive, advisory role towards the client
• Represent Valtech in the day-to-day collaboration
• Close collaboration within a senior, cross-functional team

Must Have Qualifications

• iOS

  • Swift
  • SwiftUI, UIKit
  • CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager (SPM)
  • Xcode
  • MVVM
  • The Composable Architecture (TCA)

• Android

  • Kotlin, Java
  • Jetpack Compose
  • Android Studio

• Fluent in Swedish and English

Nice to Have Qualifications

• Git
• Fastlane
• Firebase & Crashlytics
• REST / Networking (e.g. Alamofire)
• Database management (GRDB, Core Data)
• Authentication & security (MSAL, Auth0)
• Third-party integrations (Google ML Kit, Adyen, Contentful, Usercentrics)
• Unit testing & UI testing
• Publishing and management via App Store Connect & Google Play Console
• Beta testing (TestFlight, Apple Business Manager, Google Play Testing Tracks)
• Solid understanding of UX/UI design for mobile apps and adherence to platform design principles:
  • iOS: Cupertino / Liquid Glass
  • Android: Material Design

About the Location

This is a full-time position based in Stockholm, Sweden, with a hybrid working model (at least 2-3 days work from our Stockholm office).
