We are seeking a talented Senior Mobile App Developer with Swift expertise to join our growing mobile development team. As mobile-first solutions become increasingly critical to our client delivery, we need a skilled developer who can design, build, and maintain high-quality iOS applications. This is an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects across consulting environments, with the potential to expand your skillset into cross-platform development using Kotlin Multiplatform.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust iOS applications using Swift, following best practices and architectural patterns
- Implement and maintain Firebase services for real-time push notifications
- Enhance and optimize existing mobile solutions, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing technical enhancements
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to translate requirements into scalable mobile solutions
- Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive testing and documentation
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of our development processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, optimizing app performance and user experience
- Contribute to architectural decisions and evaluate emerging technologies, including Kotlin Multiplatform opportunities for cross-platform development
Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience developing production iOS applications with Swift
- Hands-on experience with Google Firebase
- Experience enhancing and optimizing existing mobile solutions
- Strong understanding of mobile development principles and UI/UX considerations
Desirable:
- Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform development
- Familiarity with GDS Service Standard and government digital services
- Background working in consultancy or client-facing environments
