Senior MS Dynamics 365 BC Developer

About the Position

At Global Mediator, we focus on solid software engineering for larger solutions for international Dynamics partners and customers. Our team of more than 50 software engineers only work on solutions that are on mainstream support from Microsoft. Recently, our workload has increased, and we are in the process of implementing new working procedures related to the SaaS environment. This means a stronger focus on performing more AL development in VS Code with a local development environment based on Docker.

Moving forward, they will use Jira for task management, Bit Bucket for source control, and Azure pipelines for automated test and release management. This is a long-term assignment using the latest best practices related to Business Central in the largest BC developer organization in Eastern Europe.

Technology: Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC,.Net/C#

Location: Bucharest (Romania) or Kyiv (Ukraine)

Responsibilities

• Work on dedicated projects in direct dialogue with our partners to solve a variety of development issues, most of them related to new feature development.
• Develop in Universal Code, focusing on performance and telemetry.
• Work on larger and/or technically challenging installations that may require travel to on-site locations in Europe.
• Support each other on the individual learning curve and mentor Junior Developers.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC development experience.
• Additional 3+ years of noteworthy experience developing other ERP systems would be a plus.
• Good knowledge of the functionality/modules in NAV.
• Database (SQL) knowledge.
• Desire to work with the latest versions and SaaS solutions Microsoft offer.
• Good English spoken skills and excellent communication skills.
• Ability and desire to work in a low hierarchy and high freedom/responsibility environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. -.NET/C# hands-on experience would be a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with PowerApps.
• Experience with Azure Functions.
• Knowledge of Universal Code.
• Readiness to mentor Junior Developers.
