About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer with expertise in Palo Alto Networks Firewalls and network security for a role in Munich, Germany.

Responsibilities

Monitoring, configuration, and optimization of Palo Alto Networks Firewalls with Panorama, Prisma Access, Strata Cloud Manager, and Strata Logging Service.
Management of Security Policies, NAT Policies, Security Profiles, IPSec-Tunnels, Remote Networks, Mobile Users, and Virtual Systems.
Planning and technical support during Firewall and Panorama migrations to Palo Alto Networks solutions and Prisma Access.
Creation of High-Level and Low-Level Designs for On-Premises and Cloud Security Architectures.
Analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization of Firewall, VPN, SD-WAN, and Prisma Access environments, including Traffic-Flow Analysis, GlobalProtect issues, IPSec connectivity, routing, and Security Policy Optimization.

Network Security Engineer experience with a focus on Palo Alto Networks Firewalls, Panorama, Prisma Access, Strata Cloud Manager, Firewall Operations, Policy Management, NAT, Security Policies, IPSec VPN, Remote Networks, Mobile Users, VSYS, and troubleshooting and optimization of network and security environments.
Experience in Firewall and Panorama migrations, creation of High-Level and Low-Level Designs, On-Premises and Cloud Security Architectures, technical documentation, and customer handover.
Additional experience as Software and Network Engineer in the Automotive environment, particularly TCP/IP-based virtual networks, HiL test environments, Citrix, ISO-27001 relevant processes, Python automation, INCA, ecu-test, CANoe, and CAPL.
Strong knowledge in Python, Django REST Framework, Swagger UI, Keycloak IAM, Linux, PostgreSQL, rsync, SSH, MATLAB, C/C++, C#, ROS, Git, and Unity 3D.
Strong skills in troubleshooting, technical analysis, automation, documentation, agile methods, cybersecurity testing, network diagnosis, and structured project work.
