Responsibilities
- Administration, operation, and development of WAN-, LAN-, and WLAN-infrastructures, as well as switches, firewalls, network access control, web filters, and other network components
- Architecture, conception, and strategic development of the enterprise network architecture of a Managed Service Provider, considering scalability, security, standardization, and high availability
- Monitoring, analysis, and resolution of disruptions within the company-wide network landscape
- Ensuring a stable, secure, and highly available IT operation
- Planning, steering, and implementation of infrastructure projects
- Driving the technological development of the network environment in line with the company-wide quality standards
- Continuous professional development is a given for you; relevant certifications are desirable
Requirements
- Successful completion of an IT vocational training, a comparable degree, or equivalent practical qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in network administration, ideally in a senior role
- Experience in IT operations and the provision of IT services
- Excellent communication skills and a confident and assertive demeanor towards customers, colleagues, and internal contacts
- Very good knowledge in the field of network security and in the operation of firewalls, switches, and other network components
- Very good product knowledge, especially in the environment of Fortinet, Arista, and HPE
- Team spirit, high service orientation, and enjoyment of working with different contacts round off your profile
- A structured, independent way of working and an efficient and responsible handling of resources are a matter of course for you
