About the Position

Senior Node.js Developer (f/m/x)

We are seeking a Senior Node.js Developer to join our team in Kraków, Poland. This role involves working on a newly formed team dedicated to a product analytics and telemetry platform. You will collaborate closely with internal technology clients to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Participate in designing software architecture to create scalable and efficient solutions
• Implement solutions following best design patterns and industry standards
• Analyze requirements to fully understand solutions and recommend improvements
• Create comprehensive and clear documentation for developed solutions to ensure maintainability
• Develop and work on application prototypes to validate concepts and designs
• Manage changes in the service management lifecycle to ensure smooth transitions
• Actively participate in the automation and improvement of the service management lifecycle
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and deliver appropriate solutions

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in backend development
• In-depth knowledge of Node.js and Web API development
• Strong database design and SQL skills with PostgreSQL
• Practical experience in the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
• Proficiency in Git
• Advanced English language skills
• Willingness to work from the office in Kraków up to 6 days a month

Nice to Have

• Experience with Go
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular 2+
• Knowledge of HTML 5 and CSS
• Experience in production environment support with strong service management skills
