About the Position

We are looking for a Senior Node.js Developer with 4+ years of experience in web development to join our team. Remote work with an option to be based in Kharkiv.

Technologies and Tools

• Backend: NodeJS, GraphQL (Apollo Federated), gRPC
• Database: MongoDB and PostgreSQL
• Repository: Git
• OS: Linux
• Tools: VSCode

Qualifications and Skills

• 4+ years of commercial experience in web development
• Expert in developing using NodeJS
• Strong insight into modern application mid-tier methodologies
• Strong understanding of SQL Databases and MongoDB
• Experience with Test Driven Development
• In-depth knowledge of Full Life Cycle development
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL (Federated preferred) and gRPC (preferred)
• Knowledge of Linux system
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes a plus
• Experience working in Agile environment (Scrum)
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate English level or higher

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable software application
• Develop plugins with high quality and bug-free delivery flow to business users
• Analyze requirements, collaborate with team members to produce thoughtful software designs
• Provide accurate estimates on work items
• Maintain coding standards and conduct code reviews
• Facilitate engineering operation process to ensure high-quality software solutions concerning engineering excellence
• On-board and mentor teammates according to engineering excellence
