About the Position

In light of our continued expansion, we are searching for a Senior Payroll Accountant to join our Global Shared Service Payroll Accounting team. In this position, you will be a key contributor to the financial operations of our worldwide business while helping maintain accuracy across various jurisdictions. You will partner with diverse teams within an active setting that places great value on precision, accountability, and ongoing improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll accounting for selected EPAM subsidiaries in LatAm, including the related US GAAP bookkeeping of payroll-related activities, encompassing standard payroll accounting entries and accruals
  • Examine and reconcile payroll data across all internal systems to ensure both accuracy and consistency
  • Look into complex payroll situations and deliver well-supported resolutions
  • Take part in cross-functional cooperation with other departments
  • Respond to audit requests and attend regular meetings with external and internal auditors
  • Assist with local audits, with particular focus on payroll-related matters
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives alongside other teams, proactively identifying areas of enhancement and testing newly implemented changes
  • Produce ad-hoc reports as requested

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional background
  • Strong MS Office capabilities, with advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Hands-on experience working with ERP systems, with SAP regarded as a plus
  • Background involving company acquisitions would be considered beneficial
  • High level of personal accountability, sharp attention to detail, and the capacity to handle and process information arriving from numerous sources
  • Solid spoken and written English communication skills (B1+ level or higher)
