We are headquartered in Berlin, Germany, and are backed by leading venture capital investors. We are now looking for a Senior People Operations Specialist to join our People team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate HR profiles, data, and other record-keeping systems.
• Identify and implement improvements in HR processes to enhance the employee experience and scalability.
• Work closely with our external payroll provider to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance.
• Oversee contract management and employee benefits administration across different countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Manage visa application processes and work directly with immigration services.
• Respond to employee inquiries related to HR processes, providing clear and timely support.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the People Operations function.
• Use data insights to refine processes and support informed decision-making.

Requirements

• Proven track record of ownership and process improvement in People Operations.
• Passion for operational excellence, employee experience, data cleanliness, and People processes compliance.
• Extensive knowledge of German Employment Law (International is a nice-to-have).
• Experience in managing contracts, visa processes, and global employment matters.
• Comfortable working with external vendors and internal teams across various departments.
• Strong affinity for data and proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in HRIS systems and maintaining HR records accurately.
• Effective communicator, able to collaborate across multiple levels of the organisation.
• Adaptable and committed to delivering high-quality service.
• Fluent in English and German, both verbally and in writing.
