About the Position
We are Betario, a dynamic iGaming company that creates a product that drives players and brings satisfaction to those who work on it.
Our mission is simple: to make iGaming interesting and technological, and the work on it, comfortable and inspiring.
We are currently looking for a Senior PHP Developer to help us develop a modern iGaming product ⚡
Responsibilities
- Building new functionality, integrations, and microservices.
- Bringing legacy code up to modern standards (refactoring, you name it).
- Participating in architecture design and planning.
- Optimizing performance and database operations.
- Code review and standard engineering practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial experience with PHP.
- Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID, IoC.
- Practical experience with Symfony or Yii2 (1+ year).
- Strong knowledge of MySQL: indexes, optimization, query analysis.
- Experience with RabbitMQ or other message brokers.
- Love for teamwork and regular code reviews. Will be a plus
- Experience with high-load systems.
- Understanding of sharding, replication, fault-tolerance.
- Experience transitioning from monolith to microservices.
- Working with distributed systems.
Nice to Have
- Experience with ELK stack.
- Familiarity with Docker, GitLab CI/CD, and Kubernetes.
