Senior PHP Developer

About the Position

Zeeks is a technology company developing infrastructure, analytics, and service products for the international iGaming market. We operate within B2B and B2B2C models, where process accuracy, data quality, and scalability of technological solutions play a key role. We are currently looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join the company’s product development direction. In this role, you will work on backend solutions for several products, influence technical decisions, architecture, and feature development while collaborating closely with the Product Manager and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining web applications based on PHP 8.x using Laravel and popular CMS platforms (WordPress, Statamic).
• Developing REST and GraphQL APIs for interaction with frontend applications and other services. Working with microservice architecture.
• Performance optimization and scalability improvements.
• Ensuring application security and reliability standards.
• Integration with external services.
• Participation in DevOps processes.
• Conducting code reviews and mentoring.
• Providing technical consulting and auditing web projects.
• Working with technical documentation.

Requirements

• 6+ years of commercial experience with PHP.
• Strong hands-on experience with Laravel.
• Experience working with WordPress and/or Statamic.
• Practical experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• Understanding of REST API and GraphQL.
• Experience with Redis, Memcached, and Varnish.
• Experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Confident use of Git, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Understanding of security principles: OAuth2, JWT, CSRF, XSS, OWASP.
• Understanding of Clean Code, SOLID, and PSR principles.
• Experience integrating with AWS, GCP, and Cloudflare.
• English level: B2 or higher.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with high-load systems.
• Knowledge of Node.js or JAMStack.
• Experience optimizing SQL queries and codebases.
• Confident work with Unix/Linux systems.
