Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of a wide range of web front-ends and back-ends in collaboration with our customers
• Continuous improvement/further development of existing applications and tests
• Evaluation and implementation of new technologies
• Migration, expansion and maintenance of existing systems
• Close collaboration with other platform developers (e.g. Android, iOS, .NET), project management and design and quality assurance team

Requirements

• Proactive, communicative, work independently and are solution-oriented
• Successfully completed studies in computer science, media informatics, media technology or business informatics or a comparable qualification
• Practical experience in frontend/backend development
• Very good knowledge of PHP (7 & 8), HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript as well as a sense for good UX
• Several years of experience with at least one database (ideally MariaDB) and the PHP framework Symfony
• Experience with at least one modern component-based JavaScript framework (Vue.js, React, Angular or similar)
• Knowledge of Drupal CMS
• Experience in the use of unit and UI tests
• Experience with common third-party (REST) APIs, you can use and develop APIs for authentication, verification and other services
• Written and spoken German language skills at least C1 level
• English skills in spoken and written at least B2 level
