About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Physician (m/f/d) to join our team in Germany, responsible for managing and coordinating an entire department.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Physician, you will:
- Manage the medical care of patients.
- Take over organizational activities and delegate tasks.
- Lead assistant doctors and the rest of the medical staff.
- Evaluate X-ray images and measurements.
- Regularly deputise for the head physician.
Requirements
- A completed specialist training and a habilitation to work at a university hospital.
- A specialization in one field and excellent specialist knowledge.
- Empathy for working with patients.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to work in a team with staff members.
- Economic thinking and a high sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work under pressure, commitment, and a focused and determined approach to work.
Salary
Senior physicians can expect a salary of 100,000 to 130,000 euros gross per year. In university hospitals, the starting salary is about 7,500 euros gross per month in the first year, rising to about 8,100 and 8,800 euros gross per month in the fourth and seventh years. In municipal hospitals, the salary is about 400 euros lower due to the collective agreement.
